Convictus tapped her head playfully before walking away to find a good spot to sit. "Well we both know -that- was already too far gone." He sat down on the grass and looked out over the waterfall with awe. "It's been so long since I've been out...in nature." He shook his head as if dissapointed. "Shows how much I care about our heritage, I suppose..." He frowned and leaned back, placing his hands behind his head.

Rainalune took a moment to steady herself as he went to find a spot for them, shaking off the dizziness as she bent to pick up their basket. "...stuffy old mage thinks he's funny. Careful, dear. Kittens got claws." She offered him a mock threatening grin before sitting down beside him and popping open the basket, her gaze following where he looked. "...well, on the bright side? Havin' me around, you won't ever have to go too far to see nature. I could always start sprouting flowers in the bedroom if ya want."

Convictus sat back up and smiled at Raina. "That would be nice, actually...I always enjoyed the smell of fresh flowers. Though waking up to your every morning certainly beats that out." He looked at the basket with intrigue, wondering what his beloved had actually brought for the two of them. "So what did you manage to buy so quickly?" He idly wrapped his arm around her waiste and leaned in against her.

Rainalune giggled when he agreed to the idea of flowers randomly sprouting in the bedroom, shaking her head as she reached into the basket to retrieve a few things. "The stuffy old mage isn't quite so stuffy after all, hmm? That's interestin'." She looked back at him, her eyes twinkling momentarily as she gazed into his. "A little of everythin'." Scooting in closer as his arm wrapped around her, she grinned and raised a green grape to his lips. "What d'ya fancy, dearest?"

Convictus grinned at her as she gazed upon him. "Well...you see. This stuffy old mage just so happened to meet a crazy hyper druid. Seems she's the perfect fit for him, even if it took him a little while to notice." He opened his mouth and grabbed the grape between his teeth, chewing and swallowing it rather quickly. "I'll have anything, my love...I haven't had actual food in days."

Rainalune couldn't help but blush and shy away as he spoke, reaching back into the basket carefully. Two small metal containers with the lids tied firmly in place were pulled out, two wooden spoons following after. She went to work untying them, pausing when he spoke again for but a moment before busying herself again. "Then you'll have the very best...my love." Clearing her throat, she grinned when finally the lids were removed, holding the container out to him carefully. "It's...a meaty soup. From Pandaria, the tavern owner said. It's supposed to be very good and very filling."

Convictus' smiled wide as she reciprocated his "my love". Though he decided to not say anything about it up front. He reached for the delicious looking soup, his eyes hungrily gazing upon the meaty morsels floating in the broth. "This...looks...amazing!" He grabbed his spoon and was just about to dig in before he looked over at Raina. "Uhm...may I...dear?" The stuffy old mage still had a bit of politeness left in him.

Rainalune glanced up at him from under her lashes, biting her lip to keep her gaze from being noticed when she saw that smile broaden across his face. Her hand disappeared back into the basket, the smell of freshly baked bread joining that of the soup in the air around them. Unwrapping it, she broke the loaf in two and set it on top of the basket then sat up onto her knees and leaned in close to him. "...of course ya can! Eat, silly!" Reaching under his bowl, she carefully tucked the cloth that had been protecting the bread into his robe to keep it safe from any possible spills. "Ya look half-starved as it is."

Convictus offered a sheepish smile as she tucked in the cloth. "Well being away for so long with what little rations I had will do that. I was ready to start eating -MY- conjured food out there." He dug into the soup voraciously, ever so often reaching for a bite of the bread. He would smile at Raina between mouthfuls, the mage looking content as ever. Though he -did- manage to say through a mouthful of food. "I Love you...Raina." Apparently, food was a happy trigger for him! "I missed you so-BY ELUNE THIS IS GOOD!"

Rainalune openly stared as the mage dug into his food, a wide grin on her face as she quietly ate her own bowl. She was by no means courteous with her eating, but the way he was devouring his portion made her giggle. "Wouldn't want that, would you? Cojuration will never beat out the real deal. No offense." She shrugged and took another bite, nearly choking at his next words. Sputtering momentarily, she licked a bit of liquid from her chin and looked up at him, unsure of what to say just then. It -was- an odd moment to blurt out something like that.

Convictus continued to annihilate his soup, now resorting to dip the half eaten bread into it to let it absorb some of the flavor. Surprisingly, he didn't seem too moved by her reaction to his words. He just happily continued chewing, asking her innocently. "What? Did I get something on me?" He looked down at himself, noticing how the cloth she tucked into his robe was doing it's job rather well!

Rainalune sighed softly, her posture relaxing quite a bit at his reaction to...well...her reaction. Shaking her head, she set her bowl aside and crawled forward, leaning in to wipe a stray drop of liquid from his lips before pressing her's to his. "I love you too, Convictus." Pulling away just enough to look into his eyes, she smiled up at him then giggled. "And no, you're just as perfect as always."

Convictus visibly blushed as she wiped away the stray liquid from his lips, though that was soon heightened by her words AND kiss. Food -and- proclaiming one's love? Surely he was dreaming. The mage leaned into her kiss, passion driving him forward before she pulled away herself. He grinned at her final comment, putting down his now finished bowl of soup and breadcrumbs. "I am hardly perfect, my love...you saw how I treated you when we first met. That side of me is still there..." He reached over and caressed her cheek. "You, however, you are a gem that I intend to cherish for the rest of my near immortal life."

Rainalune seemed to almost glow at the reaction that showed in her beloved's face, and in the kiss he returned to her. Glancing over at his finished bowl, she found herself giggling again before meeting his gaze. It lasted only for a moment before her eyes closed as she leaned into the touch of his hand on her cheek. "You were perfect then, you are perfect now. Grumpy or not, you're my mage. My Convictus." Opening her eyes, her cheeks flushed to match the blush in his at his finaly words, her gaze lowering to the grass beneath them. "You're the gem, my love."

Convictus smiled widely at her comments. "We could go back and forth forever it seems! Why don't we just admit that we love each other deeply, then?" He turned his gaze towards the waterfall, closing his eyes and taking in the serenity of their location. "Beautiful, isn't it? I've always had a fascination with the element of water." He turned to look at Raina. "Though more for harm than for good."

Raina scooted in close to lay her head against his shoulder, the only food not forgotten a single cut of bread that she nibbled away at quietly as she followed his gaze toward the waterfall. "...we've already admitted it, I think." Letting out a sigh between chewing, she nodded. "Ya seem to really like the elements. I may have to do somethin' about the decorations in your...our quarters." She paused at that, turning her head to rest her chin atop his shoulder and stare up at him. "Speaking of that place...we should go back there when we're through eating. A nice long day spent in bed would be good after your days out in the field."

Convictus quirked a brow at Raina's comment. "Well of course I take interest in the elements! It's an essential part of understanding magic. Much like you understand nature, I'd assume." He nodded as she spoke of returning home soon, looking down his shoulder at her and smiling. "Laying down with my love after eating a hearty meal? My dear...I do believe you've smitten me with words." He laughed boisterously and kissed her on the forehead.

Rainalune shrugged and huffed at him, all the while still nuzzling contentedly against his shoulder. "Well pardon me then for pointin' out the obvious!" A hand raised to slap at his chest gently, a playful gesture. Gazing up into his eyes as she looked down at her, she grinned back at him and nodded. "Then off we go. We can finish the other treats I brought along from the comfort of our bed." Her eyes closed and she hummed happily as he pressed his lips to her forehead, giving him arm a tight squeeze before finally standing and gesturing for him to work his magic to take them home!

Virindi readied his weapon and shield for what was to come. This wasn't anything new, another battle...another day, how dull. Though the paladin treated each skirmish with the same conviction as when he fought in the Great War. Crying out with the intensity of a paladin long past his youthful years, he charged forward into the fray. His hammer swinging with precision and grace as bones cracked and crumbled beneath it's mighty weight. Eyes a fiery gold as the Light coarsed through his body, becoming not only a protective shell, but a force against the darkness before him. "Light CONDEMN you, foul beasts!" He screamed with gritted teeth. As more and more sha-touched creatured swarmed him, he began to feel a sense of despair. Was it the Sha's influence? Or perhaps his own age catching up to him and causing his own doubts? One didn't have time to decide, since he was about to be devoured by the swarming creatures. "GYAAAHH!" He yelled as his weapon and shield fell to the ground, his armor nearly falling to pieces.

The forest was all but silent that afternoon. Birds, insects, creatures of all size and species chittered and bantered as they went about their daily lives. The pure white gaze of the Priestess looked on at what many would consider beauty with an pure lack of astonishment. The sounds, the smells, the pure relaxation of the environment made her feel ill. Granted, she spent many a day in what she considered to be relaxation. But this place...it was filled with...cuteness. From bunnies to buzzing bees, from trickling rivers to lengthy waterfalls. It's only saving grace was the intense feeling that underneathe it all, there was something dark and disturbing. It was what had brought her here, aside from the unrelenting urging from her leader that help was needed on the Pandaren Front.
