Virindi was not about to let himself die like this. He was nearly ready to unleash a powerful blinding Light when he was interupted by a screaming wail coming from the forest. Shortly after, all of the sha that swarmed him were fleeing in terror. An interesting sight, indeed. His eyes trying to focus as he looked around frantically for the owner of the voice that helped him. He noticed a figure not too far off from him, about ready to call out to her when he was showered in Holy Light. The familiar sensation warmed him to the very core, reparing not only body...but mind and soul. It wasn't but a few moments that the sha creatures began swarming back towards the Paladin. This time he was ready for them. His eyes burned with holy conviction; his body glowing with the amber hue of Light brought unto him by the unknown entity. He slowly reached down for his hammer. The sha held no quarter once more, mere inches away from the platemail clad man. The hammer was lifted from it's resting place and held firmly in Virindi's grasp. Without delay, the paladin cried out and slammed the hammer into the earth. The combined holy energy sent shockwaves through the ground as a large portion of land was showered with crackling holy light. Though cleansing to friends near, the energy ripped apart the sha-touched creatures in seconds, leaving nothing but ashes in their wake. As the dust settled, Virindi felt the incredible power waning within him. He collapsed to the ground, leaning heavily on his shield. Though he barely had the strength to call out to the being that helped him, he tried with all of his might to do so. "Who...who are you?!"

Neatherlynn stepped back once her energy had coursed through him, repairing him deeply enough to ensure he would survive this battle. Watching through those same unfeeling eyes as he felled every last creature of despair, she settled her staff onto the ground next to her, digging at the dirt with it's tip. Leaning casually against it, her gaze followed him as he collapsed against his shield on the ground, examining him for injury. Finding nothing worth fretting over, her attention turned away from him to scan their surroundings with a bored expression. Her lips pursed as she looked over the landscape and the possible spots where they might be ambushed should she try to move him to a safer area.
Hearing his rasping voice calling seemingly toward her, her turned back to look at him, resting one hand on her hip. She stared down at him with what could only be described as a 'holier than thou' gleam in her eyes, unimpressed, unamused, emotionless. "Yourrr saviiiourrr, apparrrently. Iii assume you arrre iiinquiiirrriiing about my name though. Iii am Neatherrrlynn, Prrriiiestess of de Liiight, Matrrron of de Healerrrs of my guiiild. And you arrre Viiirrriiindiii, a Paladiiin iiif Iii am to rrrememberrr corrrrrrectly."
Turning her gaze again to establish a route of travel, she nodded and hefted her staff, pointing off into the distance to what looked to be an abandoned Pandaren home. "We should get moviiing. Get you somewherrre saferrr than diiis so you can rrrest beforrre trrraveliiing furrrtherrr. Come." She reached out a hand to him, bending at the waist due to her towering height over the male. Waiting with an impatient look, she continued to survey their surroundings should any of the creatures decide to launch an attack before they could move. "Make haste, Paladiiin. We've not got all day."

Virindi stumbled to his feet, the booming voice of the unknown entity echoed within him. He was just standing there, mouth slightly agape as she spoke. The power, the authority, and yet filled with a hint of grace, beautiful, and concern. He felt safe around this being, though an explaination as to why was not present. "I'll do as you say, Neatherlynn. The gift you bestowed upon me saved my life...it is the least I can do to repay that favor." He sheathed his shield and weapon and stumbled slightly, reaching to take the being's hand. Her hand was certainly warm to the touch. The feeling of comfort and serenity washed over him to the point of it being overwhelming. "By the Light..." He uttered under his breathe. As he stood there, he simply awaited her next orders. "I am at your side, milady. Lead me to where we must go, and I shall follow." This paladin seemed to completely submit to this being. Was he entranced? Or perhaps simply in awe of the sheer power emanating from her? Only time would tell...

Neatherlynn seemed to be paying very little attention to what the Paladin had said to her, giving a simple nod in response to him as he finally reached for her hand. She jerked slightly when her hand got jolted. Static electricity perhaps. Those pale eyes gazed at him for a long moment as if he'd done it on purpose before finally she started forward, her stride quick and heavy. "Keep yourrr eyes open, Paladiiin." Her grip slackened on him as she strode quickly through the brush and grass, glancing back every so often to ensure he was indeed beside her if not behind her. Still, her expression was uncaring and unamused, but there seemed to be some form of purpose for her in this.

Virindi has followed the entity without question, arriving at the hut that looked to be a fairly safe haven. His eyes flashed between Neatherlynn and the shelter, questions brewing in his mind but not allowing themselves to form into words. As her protective aura washed over him, his eyes went half-lidded. The sheer amount of Holy Light enveloping him nearly made him forget exactly what has transpired not too long ago. Shaking his head lightly, he nodded as she commanded him and made his way inside of the hut. Luckily for them it was empty, though occupied at one time by a possible vagabond or mercenary. Tattered sheets and blankets were strewn across the floor along with half eaten food and drink. The paladin made his way to the back of the hut and began unfastening his platemail. The weight didn't bother him so much, it was the heat. As each piece fell to the ground his eyes wandered over towards Neatherlynn as she entered as well. "What brought you to me? You seem to know of me but I know nothing of you." His brow quirked with intrigue and anticipation. "And I've never seen the Light used in such a grandiose fashion...incredible, if I say so myself." He offered the woman a warm smile as he rolled his shoulders and took a nice long stretch.

Neatherlynn stood in silence, pressed back against the wall. She watched the Paladin with that same stoic expression as her light enveloped him, brows furrowing ever so slightly at his reaction to it. When finally he made his way inside the hut, she held her breath for a moment, waiting for the sounds of battle to begin in the hut behind her. When they didn't, her stance relaxed and she turned to make her way through the curtain of reeds. A single look at the hut caused her nose to wrinkle in disdain of the environment. Filth.
Setting aside her staff, she bent to begin gathering the old food that smelled half spoiled by now. Once she'd found ever crumb in sight, she returned to the curtain and tossed it, piece by piece, into the open around the hut. "Therrre. That should prrroviiide us some prrrotectiiion." Returning her attention to the room, she gripped the edge of a nearby table and flipped it onto it's side, hoisting it against the door. Dusting her hands off, she turned to look upon the Paladin as he unfastened his armor, crossing her arms. "Iii do my rrresearrrch. My Guild Leaderrr sent me to you, to rrrecrrruiiit you. She has apparrrently hearrrd good thiiings. Iii am to act as yourrr healerrr should you accept." At his compliment to her skills, she closed her eyes and bowed her head. "Iiit iiis all a parrrt of my trrraiiiniiing. Werrre Iii not as skiiilled as Iii am, Iii'd not be a parrrt of my Guiiild."
