The Written Tapestry

Convictus gently moved Raina aside and brought himself to his feet. He offered her his hand to help her up off of the floor they had been violating for quite some time now. As he looked down to her he smiled and said, "You're beautiful, Raina. Crazy. A little strange. But beautifully so." He hoisted her up off of the floor and landed a kiss on her lips.

Rainalune peered up at him curiously when he moved, seeming perhaps just a little dissapointed and huffy over losing her nuzzling spot. Regardless, she took his hand and pulled herself up with his aid. Anothe giggle was silenced when his lips found her's again, her arms raising to drape over his shoulders and lock tightly so as not to lose hold of him again. "And you're a stuffy old geezer, Convictus. Gorgeous. But stuffy."

Convictus arched a silver eyebrow as she pseudo insulted and complimented him. Shaking his head, he couldn't help but laugh. "I never thought I'd end up with a hyperactive druid as a mate...strange times we live in today. Though I can't say I'm complaining. I'm sure our children will have a very strong affinity towards their heritage...magic and nature." Convictus rubs his beard in thought and nods to himself. "Most excellent!"

Rainalune grinned and shoved her face right back against his chest to continue her nuzzling assault. But the movements ceased upon hearing his next tangent, the tips of her ears twitching and wiggling. Mate. Children. Blinking a few times, her face reddened and then paled, and then continued this makeshift lightshow several times before her skin settled on a light shade of pink. "...ya...thinkin' a bit far ahead there, Con?"

Convictus seemed a bit surprised at her response and looked down at her, holding her tightly. His tone was genuine. "Well...is that not what most relationships move towards? Most of my books state that when one finds a mate..." He pauses for a moment, thinking about what he's saying to his BRAND NEW GIRLFRIEND. "Oh...I...I'm sorry dear. I didn't mean to scare you. Sometimes my way of thinking can be a little too direct." He gently rubs her upper back to comfort her. "Stuffy mage syndrome, I suppose."

Rainalune tensed slightly, her lips drawn into a tight thin line as he went on about his books. Shifting her weight from foot to foot, she didn't relax until he apologized and ceased the rambling logicistics. "...s'okay. You're right...that's what they usually move toward and all. I just uh...can ya at least buy me dinner before ya knock me up?" She giggled again, face right back into the fabric of his robe.

Convictus chuckled lightly, his face turning a slight reddish color. As she buried herself into his robes once more he held her tightly still. The mage let out a soft sigh and rested his head on top of hers. He spoke softly to her. "Why won't we get some rest, dear." The mage debated a question in his mind before deciding to speak. "I...my quarters has a large bed if you didn't want to be alone...I...but I understand if...you know..." The scholar fumbled with his words like a child with a crush.

Rainalune peered up at him from his robes, blinking repeatedly as he spoke. A grin spread across her lips as she washed his face tint the same color her's had mere seconds ago. Releasing his robe from her hands, she wrapped her arms around him. "Nope. I'm staying right here with you. Can't have that whore guild leader trying to seduce MY mage. Nope nope nope." Seeming quite set in her decision, she simply clung to him and waited to be lead in whatever direction his room might be in.

Convictus grinned widely at her response and began dragging himself -and- Raina towards his quarters. "Oh! Very well then! I assure you the bed is very comfortable." The somewhat oblivious mage arrives at his quarters and opens the door, a rather large and ornate bed awaits them. "Feel free to get comfortable, dear."

Rainalune beamed as she was dragged off toward his room, humming as they made their was through the corridors leading into the guild members rooms. When they arrived at his door, she shook her head. "Comfortable or not, I have a mage that just so happens to be very comfy. He'll suit me just fine, I think!" Her eyes widened when he opened the door, slipping from his side to tip toe into the room as if she were afraid she might hurt something of his. "....whoooooa...."

Convictus smiled at her somewhat childlike antics. "Don't worry yourself too much, dear...everything in here is rather durable. I would just be mindful of the potions on the shelf over there." He pointed towards a shelf filled with different elixirs and potions of all shapes and sizes. "Also don't accidentally inbibe one of them...a student of mine did and she ended up having a third...actually...nevermind. Just don't touch anything unless I say it's safe." The mage nods at his own advice. He turns to remove his robes, placing them gingerly on an ornate hanger next to the bed. The now half naked elf turned to look at Raina, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he's now half naked.

Rainalune straightened immediately when he spoke to her, reaching up to scratch at the back of her head with a nervous grin. "...oh...'course! I knew that!" A chuckle just as nervous as the grin filled the room for a moment before she walked carefully toward the edge of the bed and moved to sit. Quickly, she stopped herself and looked down at her hands and garb. Dirt. Her lips pursed, she nibbled at her lip. "I don't think I should..." She stopped mid-sentence when she looked up to find him half nude, turning to face away from him with a reddened face. "Sorry!"

Convictus looked at her with an arched brow. "Oh don't worry, dear. I may be a little orderly with my things but I am no stranger to keeping it clean. You're free to remove or change into whatever makes you comfortable." As she looked at him and his half naked self he grinned until she turned away. "Sorry for what? This is how I sleep..."

Rainalune looked around at the things in front of her, frantically searching for something shiny to divert her attention. Even shiny things didn't seem to be working just then. Swallowing, she nodded. "...all right. Uh...'course ya do. We should just uh...do what we normally do, right? Right! Right...kay." Taking a breath, she sat on the edge of the bed and leaned down to unlace her boots, busying herself with staring at the leather buckles and straps.

Convictus nodded and wiggled himself underneath the covers. "This will be nice! I've never had anyone else sleep with me before..." He pondered for a moment. "It will be an interesting experience to document..." He looks over to her as she unlaces her boots. "How do you sleep, by the way? I'm curious."

Rainalune was growing redder and redder. Kicking her boots off and shoving them into the corner, she looked down at herself. Another deep breath was taken as he rambled about...documenting them sleeping together? Her head spun at the idea of what else he might document as she reached up to unbuckle her leather tunic. "...uh huh..." Sliding it down from her shoulders, she tossed it over with her boots and sat still for a long moment. She wore nothing under the tunic. It was just simpler that way. Next, her fingers unlaced the front of her trousers, and she leaned back to scoot out of them. Once they were added to the pile, the last piece of cloth hiding her from sight was slid out of a bit more carefully, seemingly the only non-leather piece of garb she wore. Completely nude now, she reached back and tugged her hair from it's tail, shaking it out before quickly scrambling under the covers. "Like this for the most part? Though I'm generally in cat form. Safer that way out in the forest."

Convictus watched her as she undressed, expecting her to stop at her undergarments. Clearly that wasn't the case as she completely nuded up and scrambled underneath the covers. "Oh...OH!" Though he didn't see much, he did get a glimpse of her figure as she scurried to hide herself. He thought for a moment before inching himself towards her, attemping to do this thing called "spooning", something he clearly read about. "I apologize in advance if you feel something, unfortunately I cannot control my own body's reaction to...well you." As he snuggled up against her it was quite obvious that he was aroused, thought the tone of his voice made him sound embarassed by it.

Rainalune reddened from the face to the shoulders when he slid in behind her and pressed himself against her bare skin. A sharp intake of breath was likely easily heard from his position before both of her hands slapped across her mouth. His apology was met with a quick shake of her head as she did her best to relax against him and not react to the bulge pressing into her backside. "S'okay! It's uh...flattering..." She swallowed hard, letting her hands relax away from her mouth as she tried to slow her racing heart.

Convictus closed his eyes and relaxed himself against her body. His natural urges attempting to get the best of him, though he did his best to quell them. As he held her tightly, he nuzzled against her neck. A soft whisper left his lips without a second thought...it was low...barely audible, she may have not even heard it. "I love you..."

Rainalune felt the heat in her face lower to a pleasant simmer when he nuzzled in against her neck, her eyes finally closing as her body relaxed fully into him. A purr rumbled quietly in her chest as he spoke, muffling his words slightly to her ears. One perked slightly at what she thought she'd heard, an eye opening to peer from it's corner back at him curiously. Staring for long silent moments, she finally closed her eyes again and settled into the steady purring and breathing of a slumbering druid girl nestled up with her lover. His words could be questioned once they'd awoken...and maybe even documented!
