A tall, wiry figure of a man skulked through the darkened forest. Only the glimmer of the moon lit the path, his footsteps lightly gracing the weathered dirt. His stride was steady, but cautious. The garb of the wanderer was hardly a sight; a leather vest that was cut open down the center, with nicks and frayed edges along the seams. His leggings were also made from the same animal skin, only in much more pristine condition. Oddly enough, he wore no foot coverings at all, which made him nearly silent. A darkened, dirty cloak covered his head and shoulders, flowing lavishly down his back. When the wanderer would look up at the moon, one could see the haunting glow reflecting in his eyes. Sanguine with a hint of gold, and pupils that looked more like slits than a normal small dot. His face, when seen, was weathered and hollow. He looked a bit malnourished and sickly, but still held a somewhat powerful presence despite this. The wanderer's hair was a pure silver, the long locks breaking free from the cowl and falling in front of his face, obstructing his vision slightly. The man heard a noise coming from the brush beside him, and immediately stopped and crouched down...assuming an almost bestial-like stance. He snarled and hissed, but said nothing.

A subtle vibration was what awoke the tiny creature. The moment her eyes opened with renewed life, a distinct glow filled the hole of the tree where she'd laid her head for the night. Her arms stretched high above her head as something that looked like a yawn but sounded like the quiet squeak of a mouse filled the air around her. A crystalline chime joined in as the glistening wings at her back fluttered enough to bring her to her feet, feet small enough to prop perfectly on a fingernail. A snarl and a hiss brought a gasp and a quick flutter backwards from the fae creature, and she stayed pressed tightly against the bark of the tree as she listened with twitching pointed ears. When no sound followed, she again raised from her feet to peer out into the forest, only to find a peculiar creature gazing into the forest...right next to her tree! Head tilted, the crystalline sound of her wings aflutter chimed again as she appeared from within the hallowed out home, seeming nothing more than a tiny green orb. Approaching the creature cautiously, she sniffed and flitted back and forth at what she felt might be a safe distance, leaving behind traces of glowing dust with each movement.

The hooded man arched a silver brow as he watched the small little creature hover in front of him. His one hand held the latch on his belt tightly, ready to let loose his hand crossbow at the slightest form of provacation. His trigger finger relaxes slightly, as he realizes what "it" is. He stands up and straightens himself out, his height being made fully apparent. He spoke in a low, gravely voice, almost sounding as if he had just come from a binge smoking session. "You best keep your distance, little fae. I've no quarrel with the likes of you." He turns away and continues to walk down the path, the cloak fluttering in the wind.

The little creature's head tilted from side to side in obvious curiousity, not that she could be seen through the glow of her own energy. Her eyes shifted from one detail on the man to the other, specifically to the shinier bits of the belt he wore. When he spoke and turned away from her, her glow dimmed ever so slightly. The disappointed chirp was likely unnoticed. But then that cloak began to flutter, and the glow immediately brightened right back up. The chiming grew louder behind him, and perhaps finally she could be heard by the man stalking off into the forest. Should he pause to look behind him, he'd see that tiny glow attached quite happily to the fluttering tail-end of his cloak, a giggle akin to wind chimes coming quite obviously from it.

The wanderer stopped abruptly as he both heard a loud chirp as well as a slight tug of his cloak. The man's eye twitched slightly in annoyance as he grabbed the flowing garment and brought the tip to his eye level. His snake-like sanguine eyes stared directly at the small creature. What was once mild curiosity has now turned into a vexxing problem. His voice is much more stern and serious than before, speaking slowly. "You jest with death, little fae. I've no reason to hurt you, but if you continue your little charade...well..." He pauses and moves the cloak and little fae closer to his eyes. "I'll not hesitate to rip those tiny wings off of you and use them as an ingredient for one of my potions." He snarled once more.

A quiet little yelp escaped her as the flowing cloak suddenly became not so flowy. Snatched up close to the man's face, her wings went flat against her back, the trail of glowing dust ending there as her glow dimmed again. At his words, her ears also seemed to droop as if she were being scolded by a parent. Peering up at him from under dark heavy lashes, she worried at her lip just for a moment before springing from his garment and lighting gently on his nose. Her voice came out in a sing song chime as her tiny hands rested on her bare hips. "You're an aggressive creature. Perhaps you just need to be shown a little kindness. Would you like me to fetch you a grape? Pomegranates perhaps?"

The wanderer was stunned that the creature didn't seem phased by his threats. His eyes crossed to look down the bridge of his nose at the little fae. As she spoke his expression turned from annoyance to outright anger. Despite this, he gently grabbed the small creature between his index and thumb and flicked her aside. "Leave. Me. Alone." The wanderer grunted and flourished his cape dramatically as he started along the path again, his hand held tightly against the latch on his belt.

The wind chime giggle was the response he'd get from going cross eyed to stare at her in rage. But the giggle halted when she was lifted and tossed aside, a tiny cry of fear trailing in her wake. She'd not expected this reaction, and her wings were still tight against her back. Hitting the ground a few feet away and rolling, she whined softly as her glow dimmed and then dispersed in a small burst of dust. The tiny fae was gone before the dust had a chance to settle, replaced by a woman much more human in size but still quite fae in appearance. A small leaf hid a small patch of...what might be considered innappropriate to show at the dinner table, and long raven curls hid her breasts from view. Her breathing was shallow, but the fall in her smaller form had apparently not ended the fae's life.

The wanderer heard the soft cry of the fae as she fell to the ground, though it did not deter his determination to get through the forest before daybreak. Though something else stopped him once more, the sound of shallow breathing and of a heart beating extremely fast. His eyes widened as he slowly turned his gaze to look upon the nearly naked woman. His sanguine slits narrowed, nearly covered by the cloak and his own silver locks. He kept a firm grip on his crossbow latch as he sauntered over towards the maiden. He could feel the blood coarsing through her veins faster and faster as he approached. This, in turn, made the wanderer grin wickedly...the sickly but strong face looking almost maniacal. His elongated fangs were bared for the world to see, though it was only himself and the woman. He spoke in a somewhat sultry tone, completely different than the venom laced words he spit out before. "Well well...what a little gem you are..." He was a few inches from the woman now as he knelt down, reaching out to gently grasp her chin and lift her gaze to his. "Sweet and succulent..." He leaned in and sniffed her slightly, letting out an exacerbated sigh.

Her eyes simply didn't open, not until the man was next to her and had taken her chin in his grasp. Still dizzy and with blurred vision, she opened her eyes finally to look up at her assailant. Perhaps it simply didn't register that she was in danger, perhaps she didn't understand what it was she was dealing with, perhaps she did and that was why she was so curious. Regardless, she didn't retreat from his touch, simply looking upon him as her vision slowly cleared. Her gaze shifted to the visible fangs protruding from behind his lips, and a small smile graced her's. "...so I wasn't wrong...you are hungry..." Her voice remained pleasant, breezy, though simply not as small and squeaky. One hand reached up to grasp his chin as he had her's, seeming to mistake it as a form of greeting since she'd had little other interaction with this man...aside from being thrown to the ground. "...what is to your liking? I shall seek it out should you allow me to keep your company." Her head tilted when he sniffed at her, watching him with that same curious gaze.

The hooded wanderer fell into a slight trance as the woman spoke to him, forgetting about his insatiable hunger for a brief moment. As she reached up to grab his chin, his normal reaction of attacking her was thwarted by something else entirely. He wasn't sure why, but something about this woman enamoured him. He retracted his fangs slightly as she asked him what he desired. Those glowing sanguine slits seemed to brighten ever so slightly. As he spoke, his voice seemed to become more and more desperate. "I need to feed...I need the nectar of the heart...that sweet, silky substance..." He felt the hunger even moreso now, though he felt compelled now to not harm this woman. He leaped back with unnatural strength and speed, landing on his hands and knees. He kept his gaze towards the dirt path. "I told you to LEAVE ME ALONE! Get away from me!" He began to shake.

The fae frowned but for a second when his fangs retracted, concern and confusion written across her silken features. The desperation in his voice brought her forward and closer to him, only to have him leap away from her. Reaching after him, she flinched when he screamed at her, her hand immediately retreating to the locks draped across her chest. Tiny droplets gathering across her lashes shimmered in the moonlight as she ducked her head down. "...I shall. I meant no harm..." She shifted, up and onto her hands and knees, looking as if she were simply going to crawl off back toward her tree. "...just wanted to help."

The hooded figure grit his teeth, his desperation now taking a hold of him. Though he had seemed in control before, the thought of tasting the woman's blood made it impossible for him to keep his urges at bay. "Wait...please..." He spoke in a soft but still gravely tone. "Please help me..." He rose to his feet and sulked towards the fae creature.

Her movements stopped abruptly when she heard him speaking again. Turning her head to peer back at him with tear stained features from behind those dark drapes, she swallowed and nodded. She turned herself around and crawled forward as he sulked toward her, stopping only once she'd reached his feet. Sitting and staring up at him, she offered out her hands. "...anything to help."

The wanderer's eyes stayed locked on the woman as she crawled towards him. He seemed surprised by her actions but did not question them as she offered out her hands. He bared his fangs once more, the hunger now taking control of him...a loud guttural hissing noise left his lips. Though instead of using her wrists, he instead grasped them and hoisted her up rather quickly. He took a few moments to stare into the eyes of his "victim" before whispering softly to her. "Do not scream, little one..." And with that, he thrust forward and sunk his fangs deep into her neck, the blood trickling out and onto his tongue not too long after. He let out an audible moan of pleasure as the taste began forming.

A surprised noise escaped her as he gripped her wrists and ripped her from the ground. He'd likely be more surprised when she fell against him, her feet seeming unable to hold her. Whimpering as she fought to stay upright, she met his gaze. Though she seemed in pain, she didn't scream, simply nodding to his words. Even if she'd wanted to, she didn't have time to react before his fangs were sunk into her flesh. Eyes going wide, the same glow that had surrounded her beamed clearly from her emerald gaze as he drank from her. Her body shook against him as her heart beat grew quicker and much louder in her sensitive ears.

The wanderer continued to feast upon the helpless creature. Enjoying every bit of her nectar as it seeped from her like sap from a ripe tree. More moans escaped him as he felt part of her life essence begin to drain. He had no intention of killing the poor thing, but it was so long since he last fed...and this one particularly tasted fantastic. He grasped her in what seemed like a loving embrace as he continued his work, holding her upright as her legs struggled to remain straight.

The fae woman had stiffened at first, but seemed to relax as time went on. Small twitches were the only indication of a reaction to his feeding, and as he moaned so did she. It wasn't surprising that her blood would taste so fantastic with the amount of purity and magic that raced through her veins. Had he never fed from a fae before, he'd not expect the high he was likely about to be hit with. Were her hands able to move in the slightest, he'd find them clutching his tunic rather tightly as a sweet scent rose in the air.

The wanderer felt the amazing sensation as her blood entered his body. The immense high he felt made his entire body shiver with pleasure, this was no ordinary feeling for one such as him. He reluctantly let loose of the girls neck and looked into her eyes...the glow of his reddened slits burning brightly in the dark night. The moment felt romantic to the wanderer, and as a creature of impulse...he certainly acted on his. He leaned in to kiss the fae creature on her lips, hoping her taste was as good as he experienced before. His embrace grew tighter around her as he found his hand grasping her behind and pressing her closer to him.
